The Panorams

Over 125 Years in the Making

Step back in time and experience photography like never before at Jason Tinacci’s newest fine art exhibit in downtown Sonoma. This unique show features a striking collection of black and white images captured with a 126-year-old Panoram-Kodak camera—an antique marvel first introduced in 1899. Known for its wide, sweeping perspective, the Panoram-Kodak allows viewers to see the world much as it was once recorded over a century ago, but reimagined through the creative eye of a contemporary artist.

Jason Tinacci, a fine art and commercial photographer with more than two decades of experience, brings a rare blend of technical mastery and storytelling to his work. His latest series bridges past and present, pairing the raw, timeless qualities of early photographic technology with the nuance and vision of a modern-day artist. Each photograph is more than an image—it is a dialogue between history, artistry, and the enduring human urge to see the world differently.

The exhibit will be held at Tinacci Studio + Gallery in downtown Sonoma, offering visitors the chance to explore this remarkable body of work in an intimate, inspiring setting. Don’t miss this opportunity to witness how a 19th-century camera continues to shape 21st-century art.
